In Hebrews 13:12, We read that when Jesus died on the cross, he died outside the gates of the city. Outside the Gates was where the unsaved, unholy, non-religious people were. Yet, that’s where Jesus went to achieve our redemption. That’s why in Hebrews 13:13 we are commanded to go out to Jesus and bring his redemptive touch to everyone we meet. That’s why we are trying to live “Outside the Gates”.
